Stupid FE question of the day
Ok, so I replaced a leaky gasket between my remote oil filter adaptor on the cobra today....I just want to double check that I don't somehow cross the lines....doubts lurking in the brain.
Which one does oil flow from the engine block (top or bottom)?
Does that one go to the off center fitting on the remote filter adaptor?
Thanks for the help.

the top port on the block should feed the center of the oil lilter.

It's not stupid, many have done this, me too.
Brent Mills Brent I found the same issue myself. The easy way is to mark the hose with paint or a piece of tape around the hose with top of bottom on it. It's real easy to possible damage a motor this way. Rick L.

Brent the lower hole on the block comes from the oil pump and supplies the oil. The upper hole goes to the main oil galley and needs the oil to feed into it. I do not know if his helps.
Thanks, Keith
