I did not think there needed to be a passion about a part if it made money. I do not understand this decission by Erson either. We purchased about 50 sets a year from them. I know that T&D are working on a nerw set up where you do not have to machinhe the head and they will be a lot like the Erson but may cost more money.
I have no problem using the Harlam Sharps or Dove rocker with a hardened shaft and the Dove end stands when needed. This set up would probably still run about 700.00 to 800.00 when said and done. We can also get this same set through Comp Cams with the end stand or without.
We purchased all of the Erson systems that we could find when we got the news. We were ordering them 10 sets at a time. We have a few sets left that will go on complete engine builds.

Thanks, Keith Craft

Well, that would be good news. T&D makes an excellent product.

I'll be on the lookout for a set of those discontinued Ersons, if they can be found at this point. I think at this point, the other T&D's (the ones which require head work) would be a last gasp if I were actually building or repairing a engine right now.
