Blue Thunder 427 MR vacuum port?
My "new" Holley 3255-1 does not have any vacuum ports on it. I am going to need a vacuum port to get the idle mixture set properly and I believe the picture below shows a port on my Blue Thunder 427 MR intake that I can use. (The one with the plug to the right of the carb return spring bracket mounting point) Is that right?
If so, what fitting do I need and should I leave the fitting in and cap it or put the plug back in when I am done? http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...pictureid=3790 |

doug, get a fitting 3/8-18 npt male to fit the manifold, with a 1/4 or 5\16 hose nipple on it, napa has them in brass, simply put a rubber vacuum line cap on it after setting up the carb. and it will then be easily used again if needed fred |
