Thanks for the replies, but what i actually need is the piece that bolts to the front of the engine and holds the oil filter. I have not been able to find any close ups of the oil filter mount and how it attaches to the front of the engine.
While i am clogging up the FE forum a little more, what size - AN line do most run? It looks like around -12, but might be larger. Thanks and i hope nobody minds me asking 9,000 trivial questions. |

Ok, thanks! Is that a good quality piece?
What size stainless braided line to most run? -12AN or??? Does the filter bracket bolt directly to the block? |
I have not used one of finishlines mounts but have not heard any thing bad about them, I make my own, real easy to make out of stainless or alloy. Mounts to water pump. I would go with -12 for better oil flow.

I believe Kirkham sales a billet one you are looking for, ready to bolt up.

Southern Automotive sells them

Beware there are a couple different uppers floating around out there. One is finished in a flat gray and looks dirty after a short while under the hood. The proper one is a natural aluminum color and has a light satin sheen to it. I bought the later from Cobra Restorers in Atlanta.
