Header gaskets for 8-bolt medium riser heads

Can anyone recommend some good quality header gaskets for 427 Medium riser heads with 8-bolt pattern? There seem to be a lot of manufacturers making 16-bolt pattern gaskets, but not so many with 8-bolt pattern?

Thats because the sixteen bolt pattern fits both. If the extra upper bolts offend from a cosmetic perspective a few minutes with the tin snips will address the issue nicely.

The Fel-Pro has a steel mesh internal and works well.....

Thanks Barry. I'll go with your suggestion and use the Fel-Pro steel core gaskets. Just out of interest, have you used the embossed copper style gaskets? Are they any good?

We have been very happy with the Fel-Pro 1442.

I havn't used header gaskets in years. High temp silicone only. Lasts for years of abuse.

I am using SCE copper gaskets dry on my medium riser heads with no issues. Need to keep the bolts snug though.
