ford fe pcv valve ?
for those who are running a pcv valve which one are you running?,would any one have a part # i wasnt sure if there was a hp one or if everybody is just using a stock one.

I use the stock PCV and it seems to do just fine. Here you go:

thanks patrickt now do they make that with the 90 on it i think it would be cleaner and more low profile?

You buy that separately and it just plugs down on the top of the valve. Here's what I use:

Or...
Or buy the PV882, which comes with the 90 degree adaptor, and then pull it off and put it on the PV754. I did that and I also tested the 882 -- I think they are not the same, spring-wise, but I wouldn't swear to it. For a few bucks though I wasn't going to spend a lot of time screwing with comparisons.:cool:

I also run a water separator, inline between the pcv valve and the intake, which catches all the moisture that occurs when the engine is below operating temps.It works very well and doesnt resrict any of the crank case ventilating. |

ok i bought the pv 754, then i bought the pv 882 they are 2 different size valves there is no way you can put the 90 from the 882 on the 754?

Hmm, well that's strange -- I just pulled up the specs on line and the 882 is listed as having an outlet diameter of .41 while the 754 has an outlet of .50. But in my Cobra log notes they both had the same diameter back when I did my last PCV replacement. But they both will fit in your v/c, correct? I would run the 882 in there until you pick up a 90 degree fitting that has a .50 hole for the PCV. I don't know why it would change like that unless they do it so the same valve can fall under two different numbers. I'll see if I can't track down the fitting you need since it was my mistake to begin with.... |

help has a 90 degree elbow part number 47047 but no one stocks it so i cant tell if it is the right diamater?

OK, if you can't find the elbow by spending ten minutes over at the PCV valves at Autozone opening boxes and looking for the 90 degree slip on with a 1/2" fit and the appropriate barb diameter on the other end that fits your hose, then you can get one here: Product Listing Barb-Elbows Back in the old days the parts guy would have just gone in the back and brought it to you for a quarter.:3DSMILE: Make sure you actually measure that PCV valve outlet, I don't trust the accuracy of the published specs.... |

i found a fram pcv part number fv-202 summit shows it. it is unreal that no one local sells fram pcv valves?.
