427 engine numbers?

Hey guys, I'm at the point where I need to fill out the info on the ID plate for my car...what do I put for the motor ID number? Does the 427 SO have an ID # stamped into the block (like Chevrolet)? If so, where is it located? If not, what are you guys putting in the blank for the motor ID number on your VIN plate?
Thanks in advance...

I might be wrong, but I THINK it's located just above the oil pan on the block itself. It just so happens that my block did not have this number cast into it ( %/ I wonder if this will be a problem later...), but mine is a service block, so that might be the reason. The number will be something like C6AE-.... and some additional numbers and characters (or something similar).

I do NOT remember which side of the block it's suppose to be on. Sorry.

Okay, Got the answers...from George "the 427 Guru" Gessford:
1. No stamped ID numbers on 427
2. Motor Number? We don' need no steenkin' motor number! I'm puttin "N/A" in the slot for the motor ID #.
Thanks for help guys.
