Edelbrock dual quad #20364 / whos run em
Putting together a Cobra with a 482 Pond alum block engine, I currently have the Blue Thunder 2x4 MR intake with Holleys, but after mocking up the car today I dont think I am going to have enough room for a tall enough air cleaner.
The BT intake is about 6.5" tall in the rear, and the Edelbrock is about 5.3" tall, so the hood clearance wont be an issue with the Edelbrock set up. I also know I am going to choke some power out of this with the Edelbrock set up, but in a 2500lb car, it shouldnt be to big of a deal.... Has anyone bolted one of these set ups on with good success? I hate tuning on Edelbrock carbs, and hope to hear some possitive feed back for out of the box set ups. Any experience good or bad is appreciated.... TIA, Rick |
