FE Valve Cover Gaskets
Just wanted to find out what you guys think are the best valve cover gaskets for the 427 FE motors.

FelPro F1632 Blue stripe Cork Rubber gaskets.

I like the Felpro Blue Stripe type and have them in all of my older cars with FE engines. Only had one ever leak and that was because I didn't get it level when I put it on.

If you need a little extra clearance for fancy rockers, I recommend the cork gaskets that DSC Motosports sells. They have several thicknesses. I use 3M weatherstripping adhesive to glue them to the cover and a light coating of wheel bearing grease on the head mating surface. I've had them on and off dozens of times and never a leak. Of course, the intake/head junction needs to be relatively flat...
