Radiator cap pn
I have the Ford expansion tank on my 427FE and need the part number for the pressure cap , if anyone has that info handy. I suppose I could tell the parts person I need one for a '65 or so T-bird or galaxy with a 390, as i believe they used this same tank. Either plain or recovery type number would be ok.

Should just take a standard radiator cap. 13 psi or so.

A Ford 13# chrome cap is C9ZZ-8100-A (Motorcraft RS 512) now obsolete from Ford but still around at Mustang vendors, etc. Like here: 1965-74 Ford Mustang Torino Shelby c9zz-8100-a radiator cap (no endorsement, just a sample)
The actual cap used at Shelby is likely a zinc plated unit like this: Mustang Radiator Cap Smco Zinc 1964-1966 | CJ Pony Parts |
