Holy Grail found...427 Tunnel Port Webber Intake

Now that I've found it, the question is, where do I get the carbs and how much would they cost me ? The guy I got it from says the manifold is set up for either/or 58 IDA's(8) or A Hillborn Injection system. Anyone that has any sort of info on either one, please contact me. I know I'm crazy to even think of going this route but I can't help myself, I love the look of the Webbers. I'm not sure at all what the Hillborn system looks like so if anyone has any pics or knows of a site where I could look at one, let me know.

Thanks,

Cliff

Well you might like the look of the 58's but I don't think you want to know the price. I have heard that they are high!!!!

Hilborn picture

Here's what a Hilborn FI looks like.

As for 58mm Webers, think piles of money.

There's also Algon and Kinsler FI setups which basically look the same as the Hilborn (its the stacks).

Try Enzo at FinishLine.

I like those Hilborn's

Any idea where I might find them and what a setup like that would go for ?

58mm

Here is something I found about a year ago:

I don't know if they are a down draft or side draft type.
I believe he has 6 carbs and he was asking:

they are 58mm sandcast webers but he wants $3000.00 each which i think is way too much. maybe if he came down to 500.00 each that'd sound a little bit more reasonable considering that's the going rate in the USA. "

OUCH.....lol

That's a little too steep for my budget......thnking I better stay with the Hilborn system, if that's even possible...lol.

Hilborn

You might have hood clearance using Hilborns unless you don't mind having the stacks poking through the hood.
How much hood clearance is there with a Tunnel Port in your in your EM?

If you don't mind EFI instead of constant flow...

55mm EFI weber-style TB's with stacks

these will take stacks and are advertised in 55mm sizes; I believe they'll do 58mm if you ask.

And EFI is definitely the way to go for street use.

I don't have a HUGE amount of clearance and to tell you the truth, I wasn't thinking of that system being all that tall. How much taller would you say it is than a single 4 Tunnel Port ?

If you did not already see it take a look at:
http://members.home.net/g.p.gibbs

These are 3000 series TWM's at 52 mm with full radius horns. They sell 48 mm up to 55 mm. Single and two injectors per cyl.

It is a fairly short setup, and the full radius horns have improved air flow (see TWM site for info).
