complete 427 carb to oil pan - and bell housing/clutch
OOPS - scratch this info. It turned out to be a 65 side oiler, complete except wrong carb and no trans. Went to a good home
A good friend who was planning to build himself a 56 Ford bought a complete 427 ( 68 I think ) and put it in his back porch about 20 years ago. I was recently notified that he had died suddenly and was called by his executor. She would like to sell this motor and needs to find out what it truly is. It needs a lot of TLC/restoration/etc. I found the code C8AE-H on the heads but wasn't able to get more info off the block as it was had to get at and I don't really know where to look for numbers. It is complete with the bell housing and a 4 speed transmission. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks |
