427 S/O exhaust gaskets - Oval not Rectangle??
I blew the exhaust gasket on passenger side. Ordered percy's aluminum for a more permanent fix. Unfortunately my exhausts are oval and not aluminum. Looking for these gaskets are proving to be impossible for some reason. I'm not sure what to look for now. Any help appreciated. I'll take and post pics for visuals and hopefully some help...

Hmmm, maybe they are rectangle and not oval? Just took pics from underneath and it looks like the flanges(?) are oval but the exhausts are rectangle. Well ****, i'll just remove em and see.

You probably need to identify what heads you have. There are at least three different FE exhaust gaskets for stock heads (maybe more) - mostly varying in the height of the port with respect to the bolt holes and in the port height also. And I have no idea what you get into with some of the aftermarket heads. Best to post the manufacturer and part no. and someone can probably help you.

after removing the exhaust, turns out they are actually rectangles. Live n learn. My 1st exhaust gasket change and these Percy's Soft Aluminum gaskets kick ass.
