FE Block hugger headers 1965 ??
Can anybody tell me if anybody makes an off the shelf, block hugger (tight fit) header for the early FE (427) with 1965 type rectangular ports? 1 3/4" primaries will be ideal.

Thanks, I’ve tried these but they are not the tight fitting block hugger design. I’m bemused these are so hard to find, when the FE Cobra was a mainstream model replicated on a widespread basis.

Try FPA. They probably don't have headers specifically for a Cobra, but they probably have something that will work.
I had them in my 67 GT500 clone (a long time ago). I replaced Hooker Super Comps which dragged on every speed bump in site. The FPAs fit higher than the bell housing. Here's the link for 67 Mustang headers: Page created by PaperPort's Microsoft FrontPage Editor Link |
