how tall is the stock ford aluminum intake manifold
I think I have a stock intake manifold, anyone know the height? What intake manifold on an FE still "fit" under the hood?

There are several "stock" intake manifolds. Do you have a forging number?

with the scoop, manifold is still on the car otherwise I'd just measure it. No identifying numbers on the manifold that I can see. Someone long ago polished it. for all I know it could be an Edelbrock..though it looks like a fomoco piece

I can tell by looking at it.
With a scoop, you can make a lot of stuff fit. Most all single carb MR intakes would fit.
