428 Heads
Hey all. For the past year I have had Edelbrock heads on back order with Summit. Just go another notice of a 3 month (more) delay. So I cancelled it.
Any ideas where I can find some? Mike |

If you're not ready to drop the motor into a completed Cobra, I would suggest waiting to see if the supply chain issues improve. If the motor is holding up the completion of the project, consider trying to locate cheap low performance original cast iron heads to get rolling and swap them out down the road for more desirable units. If you haven't tried already, look on the Ford FE Forum, 332-428 Ford FE Engine Forum you may find something there. John |
Mike; I was in your position a year ago. ordered a set of Trick flows with long lead time, then found a used set . Had the engine back together , then the trick flows showed up !
I sent them back. Summit sells them, price is not bad. Did you consider them ? Brent Lykins swears by them. |
Brent used Trick Flow on my FE build. I think they are made by Edlebrock and flow much better.
