I ordered two sets and the machinst supplied another set of gaskets. While placing the heads I noticed that my engine has notches low and to the side at the top of each cylinder for valve clearance. Maybe not a notch but an exageration. The gaskets will only go on one way with the head alignment dowles. The gasket flame ring has an exageration at both sides and top of each cylinder. The normal curve of the flame ring looks like it is just barley out of the notch and is supported by deck ane head and the exageration in the flame ring is out in an area that is outside the cylinder and cumbustion chamber. I think the gasket is incorrect like the flame ring is wrong top to bottom. The flame ring exagerations should have been low and to the sides at 4 and 8 but with the dowles they are at 10 and 2. Anyone have an explanation? What am I not seeing?
