ANOTHER new FE block to be produced?

This taken from the Winter 2002 issue of Musclecar Review:

(Not sure why this is a link vs. the picture just showing up here... Did the same as I always have... Grrr...)

So maybe I've been living in a cave, but I am not familiar with this company. Anyone know about Ron Miller? The company is in Norwalk, CA.

And what about the blocks??? **)

Also, as a side note, the article (entirely on FE's, with a lot of CSE parts featured...) mentions that the Shelby heads with a 2.250/1.750" valve package, as opposed to the Edelbrock's maximum of 2.19/1.73", respectively.
So, can is it possible to have TOO much breathing ability? I also haven't priced any of this stuff...

Just curious.

FPP is selling the Genesis blocks. I wish these guys would just come out and say that because it would end a lot of confusion.

If that is Ron Miller at Ford Power Parts, from personal experience I would warn you to stay away.

Ben,

The 2.25 Intake can be a detrament to intake flow if the chamber is not unshrouded enough!!!
Then, if you unshroud the chamber, you have to scallop the block depending on the bore size!!
Also, you have to keep a certain(not to be disclosed at this time) venturi ratio from port volume to port bowl depending on RPM range and usage of the motor.
In this venue, Cobra Kit cars mainly on the street, you would problably never reach an efficient ratio!!
So, in most cases, 90% of the time, the 2.19 intake is the best choice!!!
Tom.
