head bolt sequence

Anyone know the head bolt torque sequence for my 428(edelbrock heads)? I found the torque specs but can't find the sequence. Thanks for any help.

Hi Charlie
I would like that info too.........BTW can you list those torque specs for the edelbrock heads........I may have to recheck mine.
Is it mandatory after the break in and if so when?

Appreciate it

Tim

Same here, what is the recomended torque with the ARP head bolts?

What plugs are you using??

Here's the sequence guys:
9 5 1 3 7
10 6 2 4 8

Not positive on the torque but in three steps, go 70, 80 & 90 ft-lbs. and then 100 on the longer bolts. I've also seen where some guys will go 100 on the short & 110 ft-lbs on the long.

Edelbrock heads with ARP bolts and ARP moly lube - 85 ft.lbs.
Using 30 wt. oil instead of moly - 100-110 ft.lbs.

Edelbrock say's 110lbs. on top row, 100lbs on the bottom with their bolts(ARP) and ARP lube.
ARP say's 85Lbs with their lube. 75lbs. if aluminum.
Which is right?????????
