MR 2x4 Throttle Linkage - I'm So Confused!!!
Does anybody have a good picture of how the throttle linkage for a medium riser dual quad goes together? I got a setup from Carl's Ford Parts and very poor documentation. Nothing seems to go where I'd expect it to. Am I missing something?
I have 2 450 CFM mechanical secondary holleys. http://www.chuckbrandt.com/duallinkage.jpg Thanks, Chuck Brandt |

Is this any help?

Chuck,
Send me your e mail address and I'll send you a tighter shot of the linkage. I couldn't resize the immage to post it here if my life depended on it. Take care, Steve stekel@adelphia.net |
Chuck ,
Check my gallery ,I think there is one there that will give you some help. KK |
Thanks KK - your last picture is getting there.
I can kind of see what's going on in your last picture. Looks like I need to make a couple pieces though.
Thanks, Chuck |
Thanks guys - I get it now.
I'm going to have to make a couple of post things but I see how it's supposed to go now.
Thanks for all your help! Chuck |

Here is what I think is needed to complete it.
Here is what I think I need to make a cotter pin stud on my holley throttle arms. Is this a part that Holley or anyone sells? I'm trying to talk my brother into making me some on his lathe. A guy would need two of them, one for each carb.

Holley makes a similar part, uses an "E" clip instead of a pin. The part no is 20-38.

Thanks, that's pretty close
Would be easy to turn down the end I think.
