428 cj cast headers
I have A 390 FE in my truck. Will th e428 cj cast headers fit on my heads. I would like headers that dont block in my starter and so I do not have to remove them to replace the starter.

They won't fit right up, but if they have the bosses cast in them as many post '66 FE's did they can be drilled and tapped to accept them. If you could get a set of 427 cast iron headers they fit on and in the truck. Dale Wilch's RPM online site has them on a semi regular basis at a fair price, he had 2 sets not long ago.
