mechanical fuel injection
is it streetable or not. ive seen the hilborn 4 port setups etc and the setups with the throttle plates in the bugcatcher. could any air filter be accomidated by such a setup? i know that the guys running EFI on the street with a blower must have some form of air filter that could possibly be used with mechanical fuel injection, but could MFI be made streetable? ive heard its pretty much either all or nothing, like a light switch.

My 2002 Tii BMW had a very interesting mechanical fuel injection system. It used a sliding cam to pump fuel to the injectors.
Worked great, until the cog belt broke! Paul |
