narling rocker arm shaft
 
ok i have question i have 390 fe with 12:1 compression pistons 390 heads that have had the valves takin out to 428 cj size and fully race ported triple springs and a 3 angle valve job ...im running ductile rocker arms and having a problem with the rocker arm shaft being narled where the rocker arms ride any ideas on how to fix this and why this is happening?

excessive spring pressures. get hardened shafts.
