K&N Filter # please
Does anyone know the part # for the tall K&N filter to replace the oval 2-4bbl Ford factory filter?

K&N E-1960 is standard
E-1963 is 3" tall E-1966 is 6" tall |

Oval Filters
BB,
Have you checked all your clearances for the tall filter? The tall filter is 3", but will often cause clearance issues with the hood or firewall. The short filter is 1.75", and looks too short and doesn't flow enough. Because of this, we now have a new filter that is 2.25" tall, which is a great in between size and very close to the original Ford 2.4" filter. We stock all three sizes, but find the 2.25" units to be the most popular. Rob |
