Help Identify This FE Block Please
Guys...I recently went and looked at an FE block...It's supposedly a 390...I checked with a bore mic...it is a 4.050" bore.
Here's the cast codes: 7M18 C7ME-A Is there anyway I can for sure know if this is a 390....? It could possible be a 352 right? |
352 is 4.00" bore. 390 & 410 are 4.05" bore. I believe the last 352 cast were used in 1966 production. The C7ME is a 67 casting.

Any idea what the 'A' is in the C7ME-A? And was this a Mercury block?

A is the change code. In this case, the first iteration of C7ME.
