390 GT Heads..427 LR or MR intake??
What intake will match up the best? I assume the Low riser will. Can the heads be port matched to a MR intake or is it not woth the trouble?

the lowrise manifoldwill work best .......you can port match a midrise manifold, but you will ruin the heads and the manifold doing it...the low rise heads are not that inferior for the street, and actually give more low rpm torque.. KK |

lowrise are almost exactly the same. a little match porting an they are a perfect match. The medium rise manifold is a good deal larger than the 390 GT and IP heads in height already and would require extensive porting of the heads.
