Aluminum Shelby 427 MR heads?
Does anyone know if there were ten ALUMINUM 427 MR heads cast with "SHELBY" in raised letters on them? Any idea what these heads would be worth, if they really DO exist? What about the raw castings of the above-mentioned heads?

Yes, those heads were made, a few pairs. They were used on some of the engines that Shelby installed in the GT-40 and some AC Cobras in the early days. The 427 engine with these heads is listed in some printed material from the time, at 525 or 550 hp. This coincides with the stated hp of the 7 liter GT-40 engine at 540hp.
