Default "Kool Blue" oval... air filters ?

Do "kool Blue" air filters come in the oval size to fit the Cobra oval type filter assemblys ? If so, where can you buy them ?
Thanks,
Kev

Kevin,

No, Accel/Holley does not offer the correct filter to fit the oval air cleaner assembly yet. I believe that K&N does, part # 1961(better double check the part number)..........

Kevin,
The K&N filter #'s are E-1960 for the 1.5"tall filter and E-1966 for the 6" tall oval filters. I got these off the K&N web site for a 1965 ford 427. I hope this helps

David

Ah...too bad they don't make them yet ! All I care about is, for cars shows, the blue comes close to my body color, rather than the pink/red of K & N.
Thanks !

not sure where mrmustang got his info, but Accel DOES list a part # for the oval filter.

The part# is KO5204.

Hope this helps.

I stand corrected, my 2002 catalog did not list it, but the new 2004 catalog does..Sorry for the misinformation.

Sincerely,

Bill S.
