Re:Genesis 427 aluminum block pics
Tim sent me some pictures of the Genesis 427 aluminum block, fully machined. But, I am unable to submit them to this site.
I have made a few attempts to resize and send the images but to no avail. I would be glad to send them to someone with better luck than myself. Thanks, John emcrae@sprynet.com |

Where is the engine being built and by who?
Or where were the pictures taken? I want one! ! ! Steve Blackmon Southern California |
We have one of these blocks in stock right now and built the first complete engine with one of the blocks. The engine worked great and made great power. The engine was a 482 with 10.7 to one compression, hydraulic roller, Done CanCJ heads and Perf RPM intake. It made 650Ft/lb torque and 670HP on pump gas. What most people like is the fact that it has the side oiler oiling system and looks. Hope they get some more out soon. The blocks are being cast in the Indianapolis area and machined by Rousch for Genesis. The engine we did looked great after the dyno session. We pulled the oil pan and lokked at all of the components, checked cap walk and looked at the block integrity. Everything looked great. Thanks Keith
