Doug Nash 5 Speed 4 Sale W/shifter & Bellhousing

I have a Doug Nash/Richmond 5 speed I decided not to use since Numerous people have talked me out of it. My HP is too high for a 5 speed, not to mention losing boost everytime I shift gears. I have a Hurst H-pattern shifter and I have the 15220 Bellhousing for a BBF 429,460,514 Ive got $1,800.00 in them but Ill take offers........  :MECOOL:
Thanks Gary Mirabal

MAXVELO Gary call G-Force, I think they make a kit that will take all the HP up to 1200. I have a G-Force, work great with no problems. If you don't use slicks or gumball tires on your car, and give up the 5 grand clutch drops, that trans will be OK. It is rated for 450 hp, 450 tork, Nash makes a solid trans. Key question, what and how hard do you drive the CAR?? If you have BFG on the rear, you will never hurt anthing. Call G-Force befor you sell and ask?? David Kee has 4 speeds, what is the HP and Tork limit?? A couple of ideas. Rick Lake

What changes would I have to make to replace a toploader behind an fe with this set up ? how do they compare in shifting and feel ?

misfit41 Tim you need a 15210 for an FE motor. You need to center it on the motor. You may have to change pilot bushing in the crank. The disc may have to be changed to the input on the trans. What rear gear ratio are you running? G-Force has a kit for the T-56 trans to make them good for 800 hp. I don't know the price. This trans sits behind a V10 viper motor. If you change the fluid once a year with GOOD fluid and check for metal in the old, the nash will hold up fine. It is like the HARDER you BEAT IT the faster it's DONE or broken.  :D  Rick Lake
