Stainless Steel Headers and Sidepipes
It has come to my attention that there has been a problem finding 304 stainless steel headers and sidepipes for the 427 Cobra. There is a manufacturer in S. Orange County, CA that builds these. The company is Red Shark Engineering Inc. and can be reached at 949-636-7263.

Can they do them for a Kirkham? What is the finished product quality like, and by what are they being judged against? The finest ppes I've seen are from Stainless Works. They need a car and a head to get them right.

Yes they do Kirkham. All I can compare the quality to is that of a Burns Stainless product. You can get them with true merge collectors or the basic swedged 4 into 1, and yes they do make more power than the standard Cobra version where the four primaries are rolled into each other creating a nice area of constipation for the exhaust to bang around rather than creating a scavenging effect. I believe they have tooling and do not need the car.

Would you happen to know how much for the primaries and pipes separately?
