oil in water

i have a ffr with a 390 fe.
all rebuilt with edelbrock heads, intake, and water pump.
the block was checked for cracks decked and bored 30 over.
it has about 100 miles on it.
in about a 10 mile run there will be about a half a cup of oil in the radiator.
there is no water in the oil.
any ideas, places to look.

Sorry to hear that jayethan,

Where the heads checked? It sounds like you have a cracked head, or bad head gasket. Good luck.

oil in water

Ckeck the oil passages in the heads, it sounhs like you might have a casting problem Since the block is used I would think it will be OK

Did you go back over the heads after you ran the engine? Edelbrock ask that you check the head bolts after running the engine as the heads will grow and the bolts will in some cases become loose. That can cause poor running and oil in the water. Does the dip stick show that the engine is low on oil after you run the car?
