You are proabably looking at $25K

Chuck.....lots of builders on Club Cobra to talk to and answer your questions about aluminum motors.
Depending on the car, you'll find requirements for different options and modifications. You need to look at the many different requirements and driving conditions you might encounter. The builders on this site all have customers who will talk to you and answer your questions. The builders on this site also have special knowledge of Cobras and the things you need to allow for on each application. Finding a builder that can handle all the details will be helpful if your doing the installation yourself. If you have an installer helping, then a motor with less than all the details will work too...you'll just need to track down all of the things not provided for your application. The details are crucial for the installation and, of course, for a solid and dependable engine. Much of the total cost is in the details. So when you start considering pricing on aluminum motors, be sure you understand all of the details and options the builder will provide and the knowledge and experience they can offer for your specific application! AS USUAL - -
GEORGE ANDERSON PRESENTS A LOGICAL, DETAILED AND ACCURATE ANSWER TO A MULTI-FACETED QUESTION - - - AND HE DOES THIS WITHOUT GIVING A "SALES PITCH" OF ANY SORT. THE ONLY THING I CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THIS THREAD IS THAT MY NEXT ENGINE WILL DEFINATELY BE FROM GESSFORD MACHINE - NO QUESTION ABOUT IT. OF ALL THE GOOD AND COMPETANT ENGINE BUILDERS ON THIS FORUM I BELIEVE GEORGE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO FOR WHOM I HAVE SEEN NOTHING BUT PRAISE.. GOOD LORD - - EVEN TURK LIKES HIM. THANKS GEORGE - FOR BEING SUCH A CLASS ACT - - - - - AND FOR BEING SUCH A GREAT HELP ON CLUB COBRA. Y'ALL HAVE A REALLY GREAT DAY. BLACKJACK |
