Help me I.D. these............
I found a set of what I believe to be 427 valve covers at a garage sale. So, for twenty bucks I scooped them up took them home, cleaned them up and powder coated them.
I cross referenced them visually using George Reids book on Ford parts, although I still can't figure if they are original or not. They are vented, cast aluminum, and on the inside the code name and ID numbers stamped on the interior roof read as follows..... Shelby America S7WS6582- Any ideas? :confused: Mark |
Sounds like either Shelby aftermarket or possibly '67 GT500 valve covers. That is a similar # as used on the Shelby GT cars, but it may have been shared with those sold through their catalog as well. At the price you couldn't go wrong.
