66' 427fe smog equipment?

Does anyone know what smog equipment would be required to meet 'year of the block' non-sb100 reg's?
Since I don't have my car yet, getting an smog exempt sb100 # is not an option. I will try the year of block route. Mine is a 66' 427 fe side oiler, what will I need?

P.S. I plan to be in line for a number in Jan 2006!

Jdog,

I may be wrong about this and if so others will correct me, but I think the only thing the 66 427s had was a pcv valve. And I have seen one or two that didn't even have that so I don't know if they had to have them or not. Scrobac is pretty much up on that as he has a 66 so why don't you try e-mailing him?

Actually see his post on this thread at the very top of page 2

There was none. PCV valves became required in 1966 in some cases but the 427's built here didn't have them until 1968.

OK!

Well, this is good news. I should have little trouble registering my car anytime of the year, without an sb100 #!:D

jdog:cool:
P.S. The outlook for 2005 just got a bit Rosy'er!:3DSMILE:
