Starter Bolts in FE Bellhousing
Anyone know what the size and thread count of the starter bolts holes are in the Lakewood FE bellhousing.

They are 5/16 coarse thread.

I know there to dam small. The bell housing bolt holes for the starter are the same thickness of the bell housing itself, THIN! Over tighten the bolts and they'll strip quite easily.
,,,not that it's ever happened to me, I'm always SO carefull (and pigs fly).

I just put my starter back in today, they are 5/16" - 18 threads - 1" long

Thanks guys. I used the Lakewood Knowledgebase online request and I still don't have an answer from them in 2 weeks. I ask here and it takes minutes.
