Dave, I was beginning to think I was the only one who felt the same way. If you reread the theads, if you fix, cut, remake it works just fine???

I don't recommend doing away with the second master cylinder.....it's nice to have the redundancy built in......we just found that getting rid of the balance bar and millig a brass bushing to fill the void of the pedal with a rod running through it to connect directly to BOTH master cylinders. Put a proportioning valve on the back one. This setup really gives you great brakes.

I didn't have anything to do other than replace the bearing that wasn't as smooth as it should be. Mine works great, but it is 10 years old, maybe they changed something in the mean time. Came from the factory dimentionally very similar to the Wilwood pedal setup. Can adjust the bias over a very wide range.
