427 FE in SPF - Costs
I have placed my order for an new SPF roller. I am interested in putting in a 427 FE. I am surprised to see what a large range there is in the build price of the 427's. Any suggestions on builders and prices (west coast area)?
Also, when I researched the cost of an aluminum block and found it to be fairly reasonable; however, when the aluminum 427 block is sold as a full build it is drastically higher. I would be very interested in hearing any feedback. |

ST sold an iron block 427 S/O to Eagles 6 months ago and he's running it in his Kirkham.

I sent a private message to you with some links to recent builds for SPF...they should help you see the individual componets that make up the cost along with the block. Several of the special modifications required to install the FE are included.
