Look-in for a good FE motor Arizona

Hi everyone! I plan on installing an Fe motor in a Hurricane. I'm looking for a good rebuildable or fully rebuilt 428 or 427FE, (top oiler OK). I'm in Lake Havasu City, AZ and want to find one that isn't too far away, Nevada, California, AZ, somewhere that I could go pick it up.
If any of you know one, or somebody that can "hook me-up", I will appreciate it. Drop me a note on this site.
Thanks Much, Bill Bess

Bill, I have a C3 427 top oiler that needs 3 sleeves. It has been crack checked and is ok. Asking 500 for block and will be in Phoniex. Email me Thanks, JP

Bill,
I have had excellent service and quality from Don Woodard @ Sunnyslope Auto & Machine. Don knows Ford and FE's in particular as well as anyone on the planet! I know he would build you exactly what you want. Give him a call @ (602) 943-0591, you won't be disappointed.

Brand New Stroked 428CJ

Bill,
How serious of an engine are you looking to have? If you want a top-of-the-line, high quality FE, we might have something you would like. Originally designated for a CSX4000, a last minute change of plans has an NOS 427MR going in the car, and this one up for sale. It is a custom desinged and built, 465 inch stroked 428CJ. It utilizes all top quality parts, from the Scat cast 4.250" crank and H-Beam rods, to custom forged pistons, ported Blue Thunder aluminum CJ heads, T&D Shaft Rockers, custom Crane Hyd Roller cam, billet aluminum flywheel, billet aluminum/steel damper, Aviaid Cobra race pan, and much more. Machinework is all top notch, high precision. Most of the block work was done on modern CNC equipment. This is no typical engine build. Nor is it a "Crate" motor where parts are chosen to meet a target price. Obviously, a lot more info is available for the serious buyer. Price is $14,750.

The build was halted just before the intake was installed. So, one can still decide how to finish the engine off: a single 4V, or a 2-4V, type of valve covers and ignition.

Questions, let me know.

By the way: have you run into Brian Newton at Havasu Custom's? He drives a big RED F250 with an 8-71 Blown 428FE sticking out of the hood. He likes to use the truck as his "run around". We rebuilt that engine for him about two years ago now.
