What is it? "C1AE 8A080" or "C1AE 8A080 B"? I stumbled onto these tanks and thought the were for an FE, but they don't look like they have the correct flange to mate to the intake. They have the by-pass tube directly under the radiator tube and the bolt holes go horizontal. On my 68 FE the bolt hole go diagonal and the by-pass tube is beside the radiator tube. Did the 61 FE have a different intake?

As far as I know all FEs used the same bolt pattern. Small blocks used expansion tanks too if the car required it.

The MEL engine (383,430,462) engines used them as well. They were available in more than just the Lincoln earlier on.
