BB valve adjustment

Saw a SPF with a Shelby aluminum BB. How often do the valves need to be adjusted? Is it a high maintanence engine?

Any mechanical engine needs an occasional adjustment. It really depends on how you drive. An average street driven aluminum head engine should go 3000-5000 miles between valve adjustments, maybe more.

like COBRAC said,
It depends on how hard you spin the motor. If you wind it up high all the time, You my want to check them @ 1500-2k. An all Alum. motor tends to need more adjustment, as they move around more than a cast Iron motor.
I use to dread it, now its just part of the fun!!
