Break in and Beehive springs

Any opinions on how long a new valve train needs to be run in before the inner springs are returned?
I fired up my 427 today ( I'm still grinning ) and ran it on a startup stand for almost 30 minutes on the outer set of springs only. Does the engine need to be run under load before I put the inner springs back in or is the time on the startup stand enough.
Cam is a Comp Cams 282s with solid lifters and Dove roller rockers. I'm not in a hurry but don't want to let it go too long either.
Thanks in advance.

Mark, after the cam is broken in, you can replace the inner springs. If it's been run for 30 minutes with the correct break-in procedures, I'd throw them back in.

So how did it do? Were you giggling like a little girl?

I was jumping around like I just got laid by a supermodel that can't talk. It fired on the third crank and man what a great sound. Only one tiny oil leak by the plug where the oil pressure relief valve is and with a little tightening of the plug we stopped that.
Thanks for the feedback Brent, I'm going to spend Sun. in the garage replacing the inner springs and listening the 500. I might even drink "A" beer.

Ah, I can't wait to get mine finished. I have to live vicariously through you guys for awhile. :)

I'm in the process of doing some blueprinting and changing the valve springs/retainers on my heads. I switched from a flat tappet to a solid roller early in the game and I'm just now getting my stiffer springs and titanium retainers ready to assemble.

Have fun and give her a rev for me!

I hope it all goes well for you Brent, this is my fourth or fifth build from the bottom up and by spending the extra time on the details it sure made a difference, at least so for. Look forward to hearing your beast soon Brent.
392cobra...thanks for the good words.
