Drop the tranny, where is the engine weight?

It's an aluminum FE, with a front, 8qt sump. I'm going to drop the tranny, and then the steel bell, but leave the engine in place. How will the engine be weighted,... front heavy, or rear heavy?

Thanks

It is about even, but you will need to prop up both ends especially if you have rubber motor mounts. Last time I did it I used a 2x4 sort of wedged in to front and a piece of rebar wrapped under the back over the frame. Good luck it is not that big of a deal.

due to offset mounting bosses it is still has more weight behind mounts, doesnt matter aluminum or iron block, but like big-boss said not that much
