Very nice.:D
Sounds awesome!!!!! CB |
That first video, two rusty tail pipes sticking out the back of a building? Only 'real' motorheads could appreciate such a vid, (it was cool, great sound track).

Excellent!
Really good numbers and it sounds great! Congrats! Larry |
Great job! That building has a mean idle!

Hey Brent,
Can you tell me exactly what kind of break-in procedure you went through, where you did it and what you did before you started cranking it up to the higher RPM's? The engine sounds really impressive, way to go. |
WOW! Pretty exciting 16 seconds, huh? Sounds great!
Thanks, Lowell |
Mark,
It was ran for about 30 minutes at about 2000 rpm. It's a roller cam, so no breakin was needed....just cranked it, started it, set the timing, and let her go. After the first 30 minutes, we shut it down and ran the valves, did maintenance, etc. Then we did several more 20-30 minute runs (basically heat cycles) with a little load on the engine. Next came a pull to 6000...and again we checked the valve lash, etc. Then we made about 10-11 more pulls at around 6500-6600 while playing with timing, jets, vac springs, dizzy bushings, etc. It was done by Performance Engineering in Cincinnati, OH. Great bunch of guys.....really hard workers and very knowledgeable. |
VERY sweet, blykins. Congratulations!
