Question Timing 427 sideoiler
Hello All,
Hopefully this is a straight forward question to ask. What should I set the timing for a 427 side oiler with Webers? MSD iginition Thanks |
About the same as a center oiler with Webers.

My KC built aluminum side oiler block and heads, with a carb,... the max advance is at 40 degrees.

I would recommend not more than 36 degree
Somewhere around 12-15 initial and 36 total is safe and should be all in by 3000 rpm's.
