Oh my bad!!! Sorry. I forgot about the TP Dove's. I have heard good things about them flow wise tho. I have flow numbers for those somewhere. I'll find them and post them for you.

Yes, it should.
The air cleaner is the problem, and I had to make my own.

On the Hi Tech I had a stellings air cleaner on a Holley 750 and, as I recall, it was just above the turkey pan. The turkey pan was an inch or more below the hood. I better go with a medium riser or tunnel port head. Thanks alot for all the information.

With Hi-Riser heads, and with the factory single 4bbl, dual plane intake, the carb/turkey pan sits 0.5" higher than with the sidewinder or Blue Thunder intake with MR heads. I have Hi-Risers on my engine, turkey pan as well.

High Risers aren't for everybody, only 'special' people (like me)!

Anthony, do you use the stelling (sp) air cleaner? If so did you have to modify it? Thanks.

Did the stellings fit under the hood or didn't you try? Thanks, John

Does the turkey pan seal to the hood? If not, do you know how much clearance there is? Thanks.

It doesn't seal to the hood, but it is awful close, probably 1/2 - 1".

Maybe/probably. To really measure the clearence from the top of the turkey pan to the underside of hood, what I have done was to tape a telescoping radio antenna to the side of the turkey pan, so the tip extends up. Close the hood, and then you can see what the clearence is between the top of the pan and underside of the hood. take the measurement at all 4 corners of the pan. Then you can tell how thick the rubber seal/foam needs to be to touch the underside of the hood.:)

Of course engine torque\vibration should be accounted for if it comes in contact with the hood.
