Master Cylnder Clash with Valve Covers

I have the Shelby Pent Roof valve covers on my 427 side oiler. Now I am trying to do a disc to drum upgrade on the front brakes. The dual reservoir master cylnder from Master Power Brakes and SSBC exits on both sides and you plug the exits you don't use. Well the exits on the engine side are hitting the valve covers. Short from modifying the valve covers does anyone else see a solution here. The other idea on the table is to modify the pedal assembly and essentially move the master cylnder towards the fender by about 1".

Thanks.

Internal plug?

Hard to picture your situation but it sounds like you are using a plug with a square head protruding from the master cyl. If this is the only problem go to a hydraulic supply house and get a plug with an internal hex head drive so it will not stick out.
