They came from Dennis Carpenter over there in the USA (C3AZ-6582-PR) cost was $130US + shipping.

My FE is set up for crank breathing through the (currently) capped adaptor in the rear of the intake manifold.

Sweet!
Keep us updated.
What is the cubic inches or liters if you prefer?
1973, is that a 390 block?

Sorry man, that's a Performer manifold. Love the dry sump oiling though.

Will the roller rockers fit inside the baldy valve covers?

Hi,
yep I believe it was a 390 block. The build up spec did vary a little from the initial one supplied from Huddart's, you are quite right, it is a Performer manifold, the volume I have been informed is 454ci . To build up with a 427so over here would probably add another $2000 or so The carb going on is a new Holley 750cfm 4150hp unit.

The baldy units shouldn't have a problem as the covers currently on there are quite low profile as well, but if there is a problem there are spacer kits available to give me the room I need.

This is the header system that will be going onto it (bear in mind it is a GT40 one so goes up rather than down ) The photo was taken with the system mocked up on an old engine just the photo over in the US.

2" primaries, crossover (where applicable) and then 3" back from the collectors

Cool

Do you have absolutely any clue how cool an FE sounds with 180-degree headers? When you get it running, I would like to fly over there just to hear it go. Let us know when it's running.

All the other boys in the school yard are going to hate you!

I am with Brian about the sound.
