Intake manifold gasket glue??
I've got my new Keith Craft stage II heads ready to go on my Pond 482. The Nitro Seal gaskets that I bought just won't work. The gasket ports are way too small for Keiths larger CNC'd ports. I will be utilizing a set a gaskets Keith gets custom made for his CNC'd heads. The problem with these gaskets is that they're 100% composition, no metal sandwich. I'm leary of them as they're similar to Fail-Pro's Print-O-Leak. Keith says he glues them tight to the head (entire contact area) and he doesn't have any gasket migration/leak problems. This is all assuming the right angles (head to intake) and clearances. My question is, "What's the best adhesive to use for this duty??". I'll be using "The Right Stuff" for the gasket to intake surfaces, along with the end gaps too.

another helpfull idea is to cut the head off 4 bolts and put a slot in each at one end and screw them into the heads so when you put the intake on it will act as a guide and you wont be moving the intake around wich might move the gasket. i do this on the small block i dont know if it works on a fe

..won't work on the FE due to all the intake bolts being an splayed. It would make it easier though.

Undy,
I had the same problem with my Nitro Seal gaskets. Before you go with another, I scored my gaskets based on my ports and sent them to Gessford. He mills the gaskets to match the port/score. Nice gasket and you never want to have to change the intake gasket again.
