Can anyone indicate what would have been on an original, and provide a source for same?
We can obviously make something out of a variety of modern materials. That's not the issue. I think what cobred and myself are asking is if someone can provide a source for the original type parts.

I tried making my own, but I didn't like how it came out. I think I just bought the set (pump to filter and filter to log) for a Galaxie. It fit fine.

I know what you mean about making my own. That's why I bought a pre-bent one. Any idea where you bought your hard line from the filter to the pump?

Just checked my reciepts. I was wrong, I didn't use Galaxie steel lines, I got them from Bill and Marge (motorsports international). $30 each.

Thanks, Sal.
I'll give them a call. I'm kinda confused - I bought my log from them and they didn't have the lines - guess I'll try again. Thanks again.

I bought mine a while ago, maybe they don't have them anymore. Or maybe they are out of stock. I know they get stuff in batches. I guess you'll just have to ask them.

Does anyone have a working phone number for Motorsports International. I, along with others, have called the number on the website and on receipts I have, but no one answers. I know they're in El Cajon, CA but the phone never was answered even before the fires started. I live about 50 miles from their address.

cobred .... Carl`s Ford Parts sells the fuel logs for the Lemans carb . Problem is that he doesn`t have any at this time , but is getting some made up in about a month . I checked with him when I got my BT intake from him several weeks ago .
Gregg Donahue doesn`t have the fuel log as I checked with him already on that as he has been my supplier for all the NOS parts for my 427 Galaxie . However , he can get a Cobra shifter lever/handle with the correct angle and no reverse lockout , but the handles are there . I got one and it really looks great .

All
I just spoke with Bill at Southern Automotive. He knows about the differences between the various logs (1-4bbl, 2-4bbl, 3-2bbl) and can supply fuel lines to fit. He is going to fab up a 1-4bbl stainless line for me. I'll post when I receive it. May be a couple of weeks.

I just ordered a fuel log today from Southern Automotive. They were the only ones to return my call. Bill is a nice guy although he did try to sell me a 427 side oiler. Just kidding but he said he does have 150 blocks in stock if anyone needs one. Thanks to all that helped.

Dearborn Steel Tubing definitely has them, I saw them this past weekend at their vendor display at the Turkey Rod Run. $125 and they looked to be the right size and shape (some repros are thinner steel).
